Tamari Roasted Broccoli with Sesame Seeds
1 large head of broccoli, cut into small florets
2 tablespoons tamari sauce or coconut aminos
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, finely grated
1 teaspoon fresh garlic, crushed
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
Place the broccoli florets, tamari, ginger and garlic into a large bowl, and toss well to coat the broccoli.
Allow to marinate for half an hour if possible.
Then add the oil and mix well.
Pour the mixture out onto a lined baking tray.
Place in the oven for 10 minutes at 180ºC.
Remove the broccoli after 10 minutes and sprinkle over the sesame seeds.
Return to the oven for a further 5-10 minutes, until the broccoli has softened slightly and the sesame seeds are toasted.
